Initiator and curator of the International Biennale Austria.

Prof. Jeschofnig is internationally known as a tireless promoter
of art as well as an artist.
With his vision of an International Biennale in Austria he was
already successful with the 1st  Biennale Austria in 2002.

2006 he is very proud that even more internationally well-established
artists have accepted his invitation to display in Austria.
Due to his private museum in Knappenberg, he is strongly connected
to the Community of Huettenberg and the Noric Region, where myth,
history and lived heritage meet modern architecture and inspiring art.
